New Conversations and a Yummy Chilli Recipe

Published by: janean strong on 01-13-2018

It has been a cold couple of weeks… thank goodness it has warmed up a bit here… hopefully those of you in cold climates can say the same! It amazes me how I can can feel the cold radiating off of the walls when it is below 20 deg … and the walls in my house are 14 “.
I have been connecting with quite a few new people for the podcast and am excited for upcoming episodes that I think you will find interesting and inspiring.

You know, cancer seems to be on just about everyones mind these days…. it seems to be almost an epidemic. Below, I have conversations with 3 wonderful women…. 2 of whom had breast cancer diagnosis. Both Lavinia and Rebecca had the same diagnosis and each chose very different courses of treatment. They both do spiritual and life affirming practices and both have been very mindful of their nutrition but Lavinia felt that in this instance a more traditional allopathic approach was necessary and Rebecca chose an alternative route.

Jeni’s story is interesting in that her partner was diagnosed with leukemia and chose traditional allopathic treatment. When that didn’t work for him Jeni pretty much forced him into doing a nutritional and supplement regime. They also managed to talk their way into being able to use an experimental drug.

All three are doing well now and Jeni Badger has created an excellent website to support and educate cancer patients and their caregivers.

I think you will find these conversations educational, inspirational and not lacking in humor!

I found my conversation with Helen Martin to be inspiring as she pursued her childhood dreams and ended up with a fun and interesting career as a high fashion model. I apologize that the sound quality isn’t the best. Many people I interview don’t have a great place to record and there is an echo on Helen’s end.

If you are inspired…. please share this with your friends!
